ABOUT CORNERSTONE CAMPUS PRESCHOOL

Cornerstone Campus Preschool offers half-day programs for children ages 2.9 – 5 years old. Our standard schedule is 9 am - 1 pm, with an option for early drop off (8 am) and/or after care til 2:30 pm.  Cornerstone Campus is a school year program and follows the calendar of the Quincy Public Schools.

Our curriculum is based on the "Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences" developed by the Massachusetts Dept. of Early Education and Care (EEC) and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for PreK.

At Cornerstone Campus, learning is a hands-on and creative process that engages children in direct experiences, appropriate for their stage of development. It is our goal to create a stimulating, emotionally supportive environment in which each child can grow and thrive. We encourage children to become independent learners who are confident in their abilities and capable of managing themselves.

Our History, Vision & Mission

History: Cornerstone Campus was established in 1994 as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Wollaston. The goal then, as it is now, was to provide a warm and enriching environment to support the growth and education of preschool children. In 2024, the First Baptist Church decided to end its governance of the preschool and collaborated with former Director Gail Ader, to transfer the governance to a newly established non-profit, Fieldstone Early Education. While Fieldstone operates independently from the Church, our shared history and sense of partnership endure. Fieldstone will strive to maintain the legacy of Cornerstone with high quality, affordable education and care that puts the needs of children and families first.

 

Our Vision: Cornerstone Campus Preschool strives to cultivate curious, independent and compassionate learners who will experience success in school and in life.

 

Our Mission: We are a non-profit, early childhood preschool that provides education and childcare to children ages 2.9 – 5. We offer part-time, school-year programming in a supportive environment that encourage child-driven learning, personal growth and a sense of community.
